The two-day conference took place within the modern Swissôtel venue, in the heart of the Chinese capital and brought together key players in digital broadcasting and mobile communications

 

 

The conference was opened by Mr. Zou Feng of the Academy of Broadcasting Science (SARFT) and Ms. Alison Birkett of the European Commission

 

 

 

Margot Dor, Head of Marketing & Distribution at ETSI, gave a detailed presentation about the current EU standardisation context in areas related to mobile broadcasting

 

 

 

Chairs, organisers and speakers of the successful MODIBEC China National Event

 

 

MODIBEC Work Package two leader PTV gave an introduction of European priorities and perspectives

 

 

Four discussion fora took place during the two-day event.

 

 

 

The event included an exhibition Area where digital broadcasting receivers were on display throughout the two-day conference.  The latest technological advances within industry were on display.  GTM, Beijing Jolon, CMMB, Fraunhofer,SARFT/ABS, Autonavi, Blaupunkt, and Nokia-Siemens exhibited the latest advances in technologies
